  5. KidSCAN has two main functions:

  7. (1) It can be programmed with a list of Windows
  8. applications to password protect.

  10. (2) It can be programmed with a list of words and
  11. phrases to monitor in text edit boxes and dialogs.

  15. KidSCAN is intended for use in environments where
  16. users must not gain access to certain applications
  17. or users must not view or enter certain words, such
  18. as pornographic terms.
